Hero Motocorp, India’s largest two-wheeler producer, has recently unveiled its latest bike, the Hero Super Splendor XTEC. This new edition of the Super Splendor comes with a range of features and is priced at Rs 83,368 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Super Splendor XTEC features a new all-LED headlamp and LED DRL, giving it a unique design. It also boasts a long list of features, including a USB mobile charging port, a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.
The bike comes in two variants, with the base model lacking LED headlamps, Bluetooth connectivity, and a fully digital speedometer. The seat height of the bike is 793mm.
Competition and Engine Specifications
The Hero Super Splendor XTEC faces competition from other 125cc hi-tech commuter motorcycles such as the Honda Shine, SP 125, and Hero Glamor 125.
The engine of the Super Splendor XTEC is the same as the regular variant, offering a mileage of 68 kmpl. It is equipped with a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers a maximum power of 10.7 bhp at 7,500 RPM and a peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 RPM.
The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. According to the company, the bike is capable of achieving a mileage of up to 68 kmpl.
