DMRC has issued an important information for the passengers of Metro, which is considered to be the lifeline of the country’s capital Delhi. In which DMRC has shared information about the metro lines and stations affected by the maintenance work. Due to maintenance work, metro services will be disrupted at some stations of Delhi Metro. In such a situation, in view of the inconvenience caused to the passengers, while releasing the information, the metro has appealed to set the time of their journey accordingly.
Services will be disrupted on Blue Line Metro
From Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar, Metro services will remain closed due to scheduled track maintenance. Therefore, the Moti Nagar metro station will be closed till the services are restored.
According to DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal, the maintenance work of the metro track from Ramesh Nagar to Kirti Nagar section will be done till 7 am. Due to which the services on these routes will remain suspended. Therefore, the Moti Nagar metro station section will remain closed till the commencement of the metro service i.e. till 7 am.
Metro will run on other routes as per schedule
In the rest of the Blue Line line i.e. Dwarka Sector- 21, Dwarka to Ramesh Nagar and Kirti Nagar to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali, Metro services will be available as per Sunday timetable during this period.
Free Feeder Bus Service will be provided
Connectivity will be provided between Ramesh Nagar and Kirti Nagar metro stations, through free feeder bus service, in view of the inconvenience caused to the commuters during the maintenance period of the metro track. In such a situation, Metro has advised the passengers to plan their journey accordingly.
Before traveling on this day, passengers are advised to travel keeping in mind the information issued by Metro. However, after 7 am, as per Sunday’s time table, Metro services will be restored normally. After which the passengers will not have to face any kind of difficulties.
