The police arrested Zahid, the nephew (sister’s son) of Shamim, for conspiring the murder and robbery. Zahid had borrowed Rs 10 lakh from his aunt for business, and to get rid of the daily troubles, he hatched the conspiracy. Zahid involved friends and colleagues in the crime. On Thursday, four to five miscreants raided a house in street number-5, Ambedkar Basti, Maujpur. Abbas and Shamim were present on the ground floor, and Abbas’s sister-in-law Mobina lives on rent with two sons on the first floor. The police cracked the case by arresting Zahid, Dost Nazim, and Shuaib. The police is interrogating Zahid and looking for the rest of the accomplices. Police say that soon the rest of the accused will also be caught.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, North-Eastern District, Sandhya Swami said that Zahid had borrowed Rs 10 lakh from Shamim for business, and he was not returning the money even after repeated demands. To get rid of the daily troubles, he hatched the conspiracy to murder and rob his aunt. The police cracked the case by arresting Zahid, Dost Nazim, and Shuaib.
