Younger sibling killed following assault and eviction from residence in Delhi.

A man in New Delhi has been arrested for the murder of his younger brother. The incident occurred after the accused and his relatives were thrown out of their house due to a drunken assault. The victim’s body was found in the Moonak canal, with his hands and legs tied. The KN Katju Marg police station registered a case of murder and, after investigation, arrested four suspects, including the deceased’s brother. One of the accused is a minor.

The police discovered the body of a youth at the Haiderpur Water Treatment Plant on October 5. The victim, later identified as Amit from Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, had his hands and legs tied with rope. Receipts found in his pocket helped establish his identity. During the investigation, it was revealed that Amit had ongoing conflicts with his elder brother, who resided in Panipat. The deceased had previously thrown his brother and his family out of the house.
