The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has introduced a new residential scheme aimed at helping low-income families and workers in the industrial sector realize their dream of owning a home. This initiative offers affordable residential plots through a lottery system, making it accessible for those in need.

Eligibility Criteria

To benefit from this scheme, applicants must have a maximum annual income of Rs 2.5 lakh. The price of the residential plots is set between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 7.5 lakh. This scheme aims to support individuals who wish to build homes within their financial means, especially as the cost of land in the Yamuna region continues to rise.

Application Process

Interested individuals can apply by visiting the official Yeida website. During registration, applicants must provide necessary documents including:

– Aadhar card
– Income certificate
– Passport-sized photo
– Voter ID card
– Residence certificate issued by the state government

Plots measuring 30 square meters will be allocated in Sector-18, and a lottery system will determine who receives the plots. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to construct a two-storey house.

Conditions for Applicants

There are some important conditions to be aware of:

– Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
– Only Indian citizens or NRIs with valid identity documents (such as voter ID, passport, or Aadhar card) can apply.
– Applicants should not own any other residential property within the Yeida jurisdiction.
– Each applicant or joint family is allowed only one plot allocation.
– If a couple applies separately, only one plot will be allocated.
