Yamuna Authority Offers New Residential Plot Scheme

The Yamuna Authority is giving people another opportunity to settle around the Noida International Airport. As part of the Master Plan 2041, they will launch a residential plot scheme in Sector 15C.

The authority has applied for the registration of this plot scheme. Once it is approved, applicants will be able to buy plots at the current rates this financial year.

803 Residential Plots Allocated

In the current financial year, the Yamuna Authority has allocated a total of 803 residential plots. This includes 352 plots in RPS 08 and 452 plots in RPS 08A, located in sectors 16, 17, 18, 20, 22D, and 24A.

After nearly all available plots in the residential sectors from the Master Plan 2021 have been allocated, the authority faced the challenge of providing new residential plots. This is essential for meeting the residential demand while also generating revenue for the authority. They aim to collect ₹2,500 crore from the residential category this financial year.

New Plot Plan in Sector 15C

To address the residential needs, the authority has decided to introduce a new residential plot plan in Sector 15C as outlined in the Master Plan 2041. They already have 180 hectares of land available in this sector. Initially designated for green use, this land will now be repurposed for residential development after being included in the master plan. Additionally, there are 80 hectares of government land, and a proposal for its use has been sent to the Mandalayukta for approval. Once approved, the land will be registered in the authority’s name, and plots will be developed on it.

Dr. Arunveer Singh, the CEO of the Authority, mentioned that the plot scheme will be launched as soon as the RERA registration is completed. The launch is expected to happen this month.

Current Plot Rates

The current rate for residential plots is ₹25,900 per square meter. Property rates are expected to rise in the upcoming financial year. Therefore, this plot scheme offers a valuable opportunity for people to buy plots at the current rates.
