Yamaha India’s sales in the domestic market have shown a year-on-year growth, but there has been a decline in month-on-month sales. The company’s exports have also declined both year-on-year and month-on-month. However, there has been a significant improvement in overall sales.

In December 2023, Yamaha Motor Company recorded total sales of 63,375 units, with domestic sales reaching 40,042 units. This marked a 32.78% increase compared to December 2022. However, month-on-month sales saw a decline of 33.50% compared to November 2023.

★Yamaha FZ was the best-selling model in December 2023, with sales increasing to 10,783 units, a 76.68% year-on-year increase. However, month-on-month sales declined by 33.57%.

★The Ray ZR, which was the second-best selling model, experienced low demand in the domestic market, with sales dropping to 8,643 units in December 2023. Month-on-month sales also declined by 24.20%.
★Yamaha R15 and MT15 showed better performance with a 7.38% and 97.23% year-on-year improvement in sales, respectively. However, their month-on-month sales declined significantly.

★Fascino sales increased by 30.78% to 5,579 units compared to December 2022, but month-on-month sales fell by 34.86%.

Yamaha India’s domestic sales have shown growth compared to the previous year, but there has been a decline in month-on-month sales. The best-selling model in December 2023 was the Yamaha FZ, followed by the Ray ZR. Yamaha R15 and MT15 also performed well in terms of year-on-year sales improvement. However, overall sales saw a decline compared to the previous month.
