Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has filed a design patent in India for a new three‑row electric SUV. Sketches show a bold front fascia with a V‑shaped LED light bar, a two‑tone bumper with triangular vents, and a wide air dam.
At the rear, the SUV features a slim wraparound tail‑light and a clean tailgate. The vehicle rides on aerodynamic alloy wheels and appears larger than VinFast’s current models. It could become one of the first seven‑seater EVs in India.
The company recently broke ground on its plant in Tamil Nadu and plans to produce EVs for domestic and export markets. The patented design may preview a model to be built there, though VinFast has yet to reveal powertrain details or launch timelines.
