The National Film Awards 2023: Winners Announced
The National Film Awards 2023 have been announced today in Delhi, and everyone has been waiting for it with bated breath. ‘Sardar Uddham’, ‘RRR’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ have won big at the National awards. Neerja Sekhar, Additional Secretary, I&B, told the media that a total of 280 feature films in 28 languages and 158 non-feature films in 23 languages were received for consideration. Filmmaker Ketan Mehta announced the awards.
Best Feature Film Award
The best feature film award went to R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketery: The Nambi Effect’.
Best Actress
Alia Bhatt won the National Award for Best Actress for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. She shared it with Kriti Sanon for ‘Mimi’.
Best Actor
Allu Arjun has won the ‘Best Actor’ for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
Best Film on National Integration
The award for the best film on National Integration has gone to ‘The Kashmir Files’.
Best Film providing Wholesome Entertainment
‘RRR’ has won the National Award for Best Film providing wholesome entertainment.
