Country’s Most Modern and High-Speed Train Vande Bharat Express to Run Between Patna and Ranchi
The Vande Bharat Express, the country’s most modern and high-speed train, will run between Patna and Ranchi on June 18. The train will travel at a speed of 60 to 62 km per hour, unlike the earlier announced speed of 160 km per hour. The train’s average speed will be 60.78 kmph while coming from Patna to Ranchi, and its average speed will increase to 61.60 kmph while returning from Ranchi to Patna.
385 Kilometer Journey in 6:20 Hours
The Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train will take 6 hours and 20 minutes to cover the distance of 385 kilometers between Patna and Ranchi. On the return journey, it will take 6 hours and 15 minutes to cover the same distance. The East Central Railway has announced that this will be the second trial run of the Vande Bharat Express train between Patna to Hatia and Hatia to Patna.
Vande Bharat Express Train Route
During the trial, the train will reach Ranchi’s Hatia via Gaya, Koderma, and Hazaribagh from Patna. Similarly, on the way back from Hatia Ranchi, it will reach Patna via Hazaribagh, Koderma, and Gaya. The train will leave from Patna Junction at 7:00 am on June 18. Its first stop will be at Jehanabad at 7:35 am. After a 2-minute stoppage here, the train will leave for Gaya.
Vande Bharat Express Will Reach Hatia Station at 1:20 pm
The Vande Bharat Express train will reach Gaya Junction at 8:25 am and stop here for 10 minutes. Starting from Gaya at 8:35 am, the train will reach Koderma at 9:35 am. The train will depart from Koderma at 09:37 and reach Hazaribagh at 10:33. From here, the train will reach Barkakana at 11:35 am and Mesra at 12:20 pm. The train will reach Ranchi at 1:00 pm and Hatia station at 1:20 pm.
Vande Bharat Express Will Leave from Hatia at 3:55 pm
In return, the Vande Bharat Express will leave from Hatia station at 3:55 pm and reach Ranchi station at 4:10 pm. It will leave from here at 4:15 pm and reach Mesra at 4:35 pm. The train will start from here at 4:37 pm and will reach Barkakana at 5:30 pm. After stopping for 5 minutes, the train will start at 5:35 pm and will reach Hazaribagh at 6:30 pm. Leaving Hazaribagh at 6:32 pm, the Vande Bharat will reach Koderma at 7:23 pm.
The First Trial Took Place on June 12
The train will stop at Koderma only for 2 minutes. It will leave from here at 7:25 pm and reach Gaya at 8:45 pm. After a 10-minute stoppage at Gaya, Vande Bharat Express will depart from here at 08:55 pm and reach Jehanabad at 09:28 pm. Starting from Jehanabad at 9:30 pm, the train will reach Patna station at 10:10 pm. The first trial run of the Patna Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train took place on June 12.
Patna-Hatia Vande Bharat Express Will Not Run on Tuesday
The East Central Railway has announced that the train will have seven commercial halts between Patna and Hatia. It will run 6 days a week from Patna and Hatia, except on Tuesdays, when it will be maintained. The train will stop at Jehanabad, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Barkakana, Mesra, and Ranchi stations.
