Vande Bharat Express Mumbai to Goa: Faster Travel Time for Passengers

According to a senior railway official, the train will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Madgaon station in Goa on all days except Friday.

– The train will cover a distance of 586 kilometers in about eight hours, reaching Madgaon by 1.15 pm.
– The Vande Bharat train will not run on Fridays.
– The Tejas Express between CSMT and Madgaon takes eight hours 20 minutes to cover this distance.
Currently, there are 17 Vande Bharat Express trains running on various routes across the country. The new Mumbai-Goa service is the fourth Vande Bharat train from Mumbai.

According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Vande Bharat trains will be available in every state of the country by June 15, 2023. Work is underway to meet this goal.
