UP Government to Provide Family ID for Every Household

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has announced that it will provide a family ID for every household in the state. The move is expected to help the government identify which households are not benefitting from government schemes despite being eligible for them. The government will then provide these households with the benefits they are entitled to.

The announcement was made by the Chief Minister at a program organized by the Social Welfare Department at Lok Bhavan to honor newly selected candidates in PPS, IIT-JEE, Public Service Commission, and NEET. The candidates had prepared for these exams through the CM Abhyudaya Coaching Scheme run by the department.

The Chief Minister stated that the government schemes are working in association with Abhyudaya and that no family should be ineligible for benefits. He added that the Abhyudaya Coaching Institute, started on the day of Basant Panchami during the time of Corona, seems to be giving great results today. The institute is teaching newly selected candidates who have succeeded in PPS, IAS, NEET, PCS, and IIT-JEE by joining the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner.

The Abhyudaya Coaching Institute is providing both physical and virtual classes. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to improve the quality of coaching institutes operating in all the 75 districts of the state. He stated that technology has progressed so far that subject experts can provide guidance to students from all the 75 districts of the state from one place.

In conclusion, the family ID initiative is expected to help the Uttar Pradesh government identify households that are eligible for government schemes but are not benefitting from them. With this information, the government can provide the eligible households with the benefits they are entitled to.
