UP Government to provide marriage grants to Divyangjans on showing marriage card

The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has relaxed the rules for Divyangjans to make it easier for them to avail themselves of various facilities. Now, disabled people will not have to worry about the amount of marriage grant received from the government as they will not have to take a certificate after getting the marriage registered in the registrar’s office. The Divyangjan will get the grant amount only by showing the marriage card.

– The Disabled Empowerment Department of Uttar Pradesh provides an amount of Rs 15,000 to Rs 35,000 for marriage grants to Divyangjans.
– If both the boy and girl are disabled, an incentive amount of Rs 35,000 has been arranged.
– In Bareilly division, 79,334 persons with disabilities are taking advantage of the pension scheme after applying in the Empowerment Department.
– Pension facility has been provided to them only after the disability certificate issued by the CMO.

These rules have been relaxed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has been providing many facilities for the empowerment of Divyangjan. In Bareilly, two Divyang couples have been given an incentive amount of Rs. 70,000, and in Shahjahanpur, Rs 95,000 has been given to five Divyangs. The current financial year has already received 2,488 applications, and out of those, 1,446 people have been found eligible, and the pension has been issued to them.
