DelhiDesk The district hospitals in Uttar Pradesh will be monitored by the Directorate General of Medical and Health, Lucknow, with personnel to be deployed for the purpose soon, according to Director General Renu Srivastava Verma. CCTV cameras installed in all district hospitals will be linked to a control room, with different teams divided division-wise to monitor whether doctors are attending to patients properly. Any discrepancies will be addressed by the responsible officer, and if there is no improvement, action will be taken. At present, 100 district hospitals out of a total of 125 are being connected to the control room.
