Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has announced an increase in its interest rates for 9-month fixed deposits (FD), offering a new rate of 7.5% per annum. The bank has also reiterated that senior citizens will continue to enjoy an additional 0.50% on top of the regular FD rates, enhancing their returns even further.

Attractive FD Rates for All

For general customers, the bank offers its highest FD interest rate of 8.25% for a 12-month tenure, while senior citizens can earn an even higher rate of 8.75% for the same period, making it a lucrative option for investors looking for short-term savings with high returns.

Special Platina FD Scheme

The bank’s Platina FD, a non-callable product, offers rates for deposits ranging from ₹1 crore to ₹3 crores. It is a unique scheme with no part-closure or pre-closure options. Interest payouts are flexible and can be received monthly, quarterly, or on maturity. However, senior citizens do not get an additional rate on Platina deposits, as the scheme is available for both individuals and non-individuals, including NRIs.
