Triumph India has introduced new Storm variants of the Rocket 3 GT and Rocket 3 R motorcycles in the Indian market. The ex-showroom prices for the Storm variants are Rs 22.59 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh respectively.

These variants not only feature cosmetic changes but also come with changes in the engine output. The bikes will be available in three colors ★Carnival Red with Sapphire Black, Satin Pacific Blue with Matte Sapphire Black, and Sapphire Black with Granite.

The Storm variants of the Rocket 3 GT and Rocket 3 R motorcycles come with black-out elements, including blacked-out intake covers, hydro-formed exhaust headers, black anodized rear frame forging, and blacked-out forks, yoke, risers, and handlebar clamp.

Other blacked-out features include the RSU rocker, seat finisher, rider footrest, pillion, brake and gear pedals, levers, side stand, and hangers.

The engine powertrain of the Storm variants consists of a 2,458cc, 3-cylinder liquid-cooled unit. The power output is 165bhp at 7,000rpm, which can be increased to 180bhp.

The torque output has also been increased from 221Nm to 225Nm at 4,000rpm. The motorcycles come with a 6-speed gearbox, and Triumph is offering a quickshifter as an optional feature.

In terms of features, the Storm variants of the Rocket 3 GT and Rocket 3 R motorcycles come with a TFT screen, cornering ABS, traction control, four riding modes, all LED lighting with daytime running lamp, hill hold control, cruise control, keyless ignition, and backlit switches.

Additional features include a USB port for charging mobile devices, heated grips in the GT variant, tire pressure monitoring system, and Bluetooth connectivity module.
