Raigarh to Host National Ramayana Festival from 1st to 3rd June 2023

Raigarh is all set to host the National Ramayana Festival from 1st to 3rd June 2023 at Ramleela Maidan. The festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on 1st June. The entry for the festival will be free for all. The traffic department has made necessary arrangements for the safe and smooth movement of people during the festival.

Necessary Changes Made in Parking and Traffic Arrangements for the Festival

To ensure smooth traffic during the festival, the traffic department has made changes in the parking and traffic arrangements. The old police line has been reserved for the vehicles of ministers and guests from other states. Similarly, parking for VIPs and artists has been arranged at Natwar School. The parking arrangements for vehicles at different locations have been made, including Rae Sports Club, St. Michael School/Church, Suneel Lendhra Campus, Gandhi Ganj, and Women’s College.

Restrictions on Traffic During the Festival

The traffic department has decided to divert all kinds of vehicles to ensure the safety of the devotees during the festival. The diversion points will be Handi Chowk, Sattigudhi Chowk, and Gaushala Tiraha. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city from the designated points outside the city from 1st to 3rd June 2023.

Arrangements Made for Devotees Coming from Outside the City

For the devotees coming from outside the city, the Revenue Officer Rajasw Raigarh has informed that arrangements have been made for their stay at Panchayati Dharmshala, Agrasen Dharmshala, and Nilanchal Dharmshala during the festival.

With all the necessary arrangements in place, Raigarh is all set to host the National Ramayana Festival and welcome devotees from all over the country.
