In the aftermath of the collision, immediate rescue operations were launched, involving eleven crafts and four helicopters from the Navy, Coast Guard, and local police. Two individuals sustained serious injuries and have been transported to a naval hospital for treatment. The Chief Minister addressed the media, assuring the public that more information about the remaining missing persons would be available by the next morning.
