Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched new mild-hybrid variants of its popular Fortuner and Fortuner Legender SUVs in India, marking the debut of mild-hybrid technology in the full-size SUV segment. The new variants combine Toyota’s trusted 2.8-litre diesel engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, aiming to deliver better performance, improved fuel economy, and reduced emissions.

Bookings for these updated models have officially opened, with deliveries expected to begin in the third week of June.

According to market reports, the Toyota Fortuner now ranges from ₹35.37 lakh to ₹51.94 lakh, while the Fortuner Legender is priced between ₹44.11 lakh and ₹50.09 lakh. The newly launched Fortuner mild-hybrid variant is priced at ₹44.72 lakh, and the Legender mild-hybrid variant tops out at ₹50.09 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom.
