Toyota, the renowned Japanese automaker, has unveiled the facelift version of the Corolla Cross, a car that has been dominating global markets for 50 years, in Thailand. This facelift model is built on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform.
The Corolla Cross sets itself apart from hatchbacks, sedans, and estate versions with its unique appearance. In its SUV avatar, it features a bold bumper, full-body cladding, and a commanding stance.
The Corolla Cross facelift emerges as an excellent option in Toyota’s global SUV lineup, particularly in the sporty C-HR segment, although it is slightly smaller than the company’s popular SUV, the RAV4. Toyota Corolla Cross Facelift 2024 Price:
Toyota has introduced the Corolla Cross facelift in four variants in the global market: Sport Plus, HV Premium, HV Premium Luxury, and HV GR Sport. In Thailand, its variant-wise prices range approximately from 23.10 lakhs INR to 29 lakhs INR.
The top-spec variant is priced at around 29 lakhs INR. However, the company has not made any official announcement regarding its launch in India yet.
Toyota Corolla Cross Facelift 2024 Engine:
The non-hybrid Corolla Cross facelift comes with a 1.8L naturally aspirated petrol engine, dubbed 2ZR-FBE, producing a maximum power of 140 bhp and peak torque of 177 Nm.
On the other hand, the hybrid variant features a 1.8L engine, labeled 2ZR-FXE, generating 98 bhp of maximum power and 142 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, an electric motor produces a maximum power of 72 bhp and peak torque of 163 Nm.

The Corolla Cross facelift, presented in Thailand, is equipped with an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster in the HV Premium Luxury trim. It also boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in all variants.

For passenger safety, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has incorporated blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, as well as features like AEB (autonomous emergency braking), traction control, ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), hill start assist, TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system), and seven airbags.
