Toyota is set to introduce the Corolla Cross SUV to the Indian market, aiming to expand its presence in the competitive compact SUV segment. The Corolla Cross is anticipated to launch in India by 2025, with production expected to commence at Toyota’s new facility in Bidadi, Karnataka.

The Corolla Cross is expected to feature a sleek exterior design with a raised ride height, protective cladding, and a versatile hatchback layout. Inside, it is anticipated to offer a spacious cabin equipped with modern amenities, including a user-friendly infotainment system with physical buttons for ease of use. The interior is designed to provide comfort and convenience for both drivers and passengers.
Performance and Efficiency
The Corolla Cross is expected to be available in both gasoline and hybrid variants. The gasoline models are anticipated to be equipped with a 1.8-liter engine, delivering an estimated fuel efficiency of 22 to 24 kmpl, as observed in real-world tests in Thailand.
The hybrid version is expected to offer enhanced fuel efficiency, making it a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.
