Most Valuable Indian Brands: TCS, Reliance, Infosys, HDFC, and Jio
Interbrand, a leading brand consultancy company, has released its list of the top 50 most valuable brands in India. The list is dominated by IT companies and financial institutions, with TCS topping the list with a brand valuation of Rs 1,09,576 crore. The combined valuation of the top 50 companies has crossed $100 billion for the first time.
Reliance and Jio in Top 5
Reliance has secured the second position on the list with a brand valuation of Rs 65,320 crore, while Jio has made it to the top 5 for the first time with a brand valuation of Rs 49,027 crore. IT company Infosys and private bank HDFC are third and fourth respectively.
Jio’s First-time Inclusion
Jio’s inclusion in the top 5 for the first time is noteworthy, and Airtel is close behind at number six. Other top 10 brands include LIC, Mahindra, State Bank of India, and ICICI. The total brand value of the top three brands, TCS, Reliance, and Infosys, is 46% of the total brand value of the first 10 companies.
Other Brands in the List
Apart from the top 10, brands like Tata, Adani, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, Bajaj Auto, Amul, Dabur, Patanjali, and Britannia are also included in the list. The total brand value of the top 10 brands is more than the combined value of the remaining 40 brands in the list.
Overall, the list reflects India’s growing economy and the success of its homegrown brands in the global market.
