New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Inaugurate RapidX on October 20
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the RapidX project on October 20 in New Delhi. Alongside the inauguration, the Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Vasundhara. The event is expected to witness the participation of VVIPs as well as common people. In order to manage the traffic during the event, the police have released a route and diversion plan.
In order to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, heavy vehicles will be banned throughout the day in Mohan Nagar and Sahibabad. The diversion plan will be implemented from 7 am on October 20 until the end of the program. The Prime Minister’s plane is scheduled to land at Hindon Airport, but in case of bad weather, his convoy will reach the venue by road from Delhi via UP Gate. The security plan includes four possible routes, with the route via Hindon Air Force being of utmost importance.
Route Plan to Reach the Public Meeting
The route plan for buses and vehicles coming from various locations has been outlined as follows:
- Buses from Modinagar, Muradnagar, Hapur, and Meerut will get down at Kanawani from Rajnagar Extension, Elevated Road, and park at parking number-7 near Buddha Chowk and parking number-8 in front of Crown Vasundhara Chowki. Light vehicles will park in parking number 6 in front of Indirapuram police station.
- Buses from Hapur, Bulandshahr, and Noida will stop at parking number-7 and 8 from Vijayanagar, CISF Road, Indirapuram, Kanavani Pulia. Cars and other light vehicles will park in parking number-6.
- Buses from Noida, Vasundhara, and Vaishali will stop at parking number-7 and 8 near Buddha Chowk via Gaur Green to Kanawani.
- Small vehicles from Ghaziabad will park at parking number 10 of Krishna Apartment and parking number 9 of Amity International School before Mewar Chowk via Hindon Bridge.
- Buses from Baghpat, Loni, Tronica City, Loni Border, Bhopura, Tila Mod, Tulsi Niketan will stop from Karangate Roundabout to Rajendra Nagar Metro Station. They will park at parking number-4, while light vehicles will park at parking number-3 in the center.
- Buses from Seemapuri via Rajendra Nagar Metro Station to Sahibabad Railway Station Cut Underpass will park at parking number-4, while cars and light vehicles will park at parking number-3.
- Buses from UP Gate, Kaushambi, Link Road, Noida will park at parking number-4, while cars and light vehicles will park at parking number-3 on Solar Urja Marg from Dabur Tiraha to Thana Link Road Redlight.
Vehicle Diversion Plan
The vehicle diversion plan for the event is as follows:
- Vehicles will be restricted from Hindon Airforce Roundabout towards Sahibabad RapidX Station and Jan Sabha via Mohannagar.
- Movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted from Police Station Link Road Red Light towards Sahibabad RapidX Station and Jan Sabha.
- Except for heavy vehicles coming from CISF Road towards Sahibabad, all others will be banned. Vehicles will not be able to travel through the solar energy route.
- Vehicles will not ply on both the lanes between Lalkuan and Seemapuri.
- Vehicles will not be able to go from Loni to Bhopura, via Hindon roundabout, Nagdwar towards Rajnagar Extension, and from ALT intersection to Rajnagar Extension via Rotary roundabout, Nagdwar, from Bhopura towards Loni.
- All types of commercial vehicles coming from Meerut towards Ghaziabad will not be able to go towards Ghaziabad from Duhai Peripheral. Only vehicles going to public meetings will be exempted.
