DelhiDesk: Police in India have arrested a thief who allegedly sold the engine and chassis numbers of over 4,000 vehicles in the past decade. The suspect, identified as Shamim alias Pilla, is said to have links to notorious vehicle thief Manoj Bakkarwala, as well as to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gangs. The latter group’s member’s brother was arrested in connection with the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. In one case, the police had offered a reward of INR25,000 ($340) for Shamim’s arrest.
