Kia India Shines Brightly 🌟
Kia India had an impressive month in April 2025, with sales rising by 18% to 23,623 units. In April 2024, they sold 19,968 units. Their compact SUV, the Sonet, was a star performer, with 8,068 units sold. They also sold 6,135 units of the Celtos, 5,259 units of the Carens, and 4,000 units of the newly introduced Kia Seltos. Additionally, 161 units of the premium MPV Carnival Limousine were sold.
JSW MG Motor’s Sales Boom 📈
JSW MG Motor also saw a significant increase, with sales up by 23% to 5,829 units in April. They sold 4,725 vehicles in the same month last year. This shows a strong performance for the company.
Hyundai and Tata Motors Face Declines 📉
On the other hand, Hyundai India reported a 5% drop in sales, selling 60,774 units compared to 63,701 units in April 2024. Tata Motors also faced a decline, with sales falling from 47,883 units in April 2024 to 45,199 units in April 2025, marking a 6% decrease.
Toyota Kirloskar and Maruti Suzuki’s Growth 🚀
Toyota Kirloskar Motor had a fantastic month, with sales increasing by 33% to 27,324 units. Last year, they sold 20,494 units. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki achieved impressive sales of 1.79 lakh units in April 2024, including 1,42,053 units in domestic sales and 27,911 units exported.
