Tata Motors has officially launched the new Nexon CNG in India, and it has already made waves after being spotted multiple times during testing. This model marks a significant milestone as it is the first CNG car from Tata to feature a turbocharged engine. With the Nexon CNG, buyers will have the option of choosing from four different fuel types, catering to various driving preferences and needs. The starting price for this exciting new offering is set at Rs 8 lakh 99 thousand, and it comes in eight different trim levels, including Smart (O), Smart+, and the top-spec Fearless+ S, which is priced at Rs 14 lakh 59 thousand (ex-showroom).

The Nexon CNG is equipped with advanced dual-cylinder technology, which makes it stand out in the market. It features a 1.2L three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces an impressive 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque when running on petrol. When using CNG, the power drops to 99 bhp, but the torque remains the same at 170 Nm. One of the key highlights of the Nexon CNG is its Twin Cylinder i-CNG system, which incorporates two 30L cylinders placed beneath the boot floor. This smart design ensures that drivers do not have to compromise on boot space, making it a practical choice for those who need room for luggage.

In terms of design, the Nexon CNG retains the appealing aesthetics of its diesel and petrol counterparts.
