This article provides updates on Tata Motors discontinuing some car variants and details about the new Tata Punch features.
Tata Motors has recently made some changes to its car lineup. After experiencing record sales during the festive season, the company has decided to stop making certain variants of the Punch, Nexon, and Tiago NRG. This move is aimed at improving production efficiency and speeding up delivery times for popular models.
Among the changes, Tata has discontinued the Adventure and Adventure S variants of the Punch. The Punch is currently the second best-selling model for Tata Motors, available in both petrol and electric versions. It is offered in four main trims: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative.
For customers, this means that the Adventure variants will no longer be available for purchase. The Adventure variant came with features like a 3.5-inch infotainment system, power windows, rear AC vents, and more. However, many of these features are still found in the new Tata Punch 2025 model.
The updated Tata Punch now boasts a more premium interior with a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and a larger 10.2-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a 360-degree camera, automatic headlamps, and wireless charging.
The new Tata Punch comes with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, offering 87 bhp power and 115 Nm torque. The CNG variant provides 72 bhp and 103 Nm torque. With both manual and automatic options, the petrol variant delivers a mileage of 20.09 kmpl, while the CNG version offers 26.99 km/kg.
