Tata Motors has launched its flagship SUV, the Harrier, with an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 15.49 lakh. The company has stated that this price will be increased later. The Harrier facelift comes with new features, both in terms of exterior and interior, following the new Safari’s design. Customers can book the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The prices of all the variants have been revealed, and the SUV is equipped with a 2-liter turbo diesel engine, available with manual or automatic transmission.

The Harrier facelift is equipped with a powerful 2.0L turbo diesel engine across all variants. This engine produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The automatic variants come with paddle shifters and electronic parking brake. The company claims that both the manual and automatic versions deliver a mileage of 16.08 kmpl and 14.60 kmpl, respectively.

Upgrades in 2023 Tata Harrier

The new Tata Harrier facelift showcases significant changes in both the exterior and interior. It now features a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with new smartphone connectivity options. The four-spoke steering wheel has a backlit logo, and a touch-based climate control system with two toggles has been added. Additionally, there is a new dial to select the drive mode, along with a display. The dashboard has a fresh finish with leatherette padding and gloss black surfaces.

New Style and Design

The face of the 2023 Tata Harrier has undergone a major change, with a new grille and a split headlamp design. The SUV is fully equipped with LED lights, and an LED lightbar encircles the front part. The front bumper is divided into two parts, featuring a gloss black band. The SUV now sports new 18 and 19-inch alloys, available only in the dark variant. The interior has also been extensively redesigned, with a gloss black surface on the dashboard. Thin strips of LED ambient lighting are also present on the SUV’s dashboard.
