Prakash Mishra from Lucknow installed four solar panels six months ago, generating 18-24 units daily while only consuming 7-8 units. After a total investment of Rs 2,38,000, he received a subsidy of Rs 1,08,000, resulting in significant savings on his electricity bill.
Uday Pratap Singh, another Lucknow resident and teacher, reported a similar experience. His solar panels produce 23-24 units daily against his consumption of 20, reducing his electricity bill from Rs 5000 to just Rs 1500.
Growing Solar Business
Ravi Pratap Singh, who started his solar installation business in 2016, now averages 25 installations daily, fueled by rising demand. Lokendra Vikram Singh, another entrepreneur, also reports success, installing 15-16 panels monthly and offering extensive customer support.
This initiative not only supports families in reducing costs but also promotes renewable energy in the region.
