Stock Market Closing: Sensex and Nifty fall

The Indian stock market closed with a fall on June 15, 2023. The Sensex closed at 62,917.63 points, down by 310.88 points, while Nifty closed at 18,688.10 points, down by 67.80 points. Out of the 3,664 companies that traded on the BSE, 1,749 shares closed with gains, and 1,779 shares closed with a decline. The share price of 136 companies remained unchanged. The rupee closed at 82.18 rupees against the dollar, with a weakness of 8 paise.

Top gainers and losers of Nifty

The shares of Apollo Hospitals, Devi Labs, Dr Reddy Labs, Cipla, and BPCL closed with gains, while Hero MotoCorp, IndusInd Bank, Wipro, SBI, and Kotak Mahindra closed with losses.
