Mahindra, a popular company known for its Scorpio range, has recently launched a new variant of its Scorpio N SUV called Scorpio N Z8 Select. This new variant is positioned between the Z6 and Z8 models, offering a more affordable option for customers.

The Scorpio N Z8 Select comes with a 2-wheel drive system and is priced between Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh. It is cheaper than the Z8 variant by approximately Rs 1.11 lakh to Rs 1.65 lakh, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
The new Midnight Black color adds a fresh look to the model, which is available in both petrol and diesel engines.
Interior and Technology
Inside the cabin, the Scorpio N Z8 Select features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch color TFT display, and Adrenox connected technology. It also includes inbuilt Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto for added convenience.
However, some features like dual-zone automatic climate control and auto headlights have been removed to lower the cost.
Safety and Performance
For safety, the Scorpio N Z8 Select is equipped with 6 airbags but lacks a tire pressure monitoring system. The model offers two engine options – a 2-liter turbo engine producing 203 bhp power and 370 Nm torque, and a 2.2-liter turbo engine generating 175 bhp power and 370 Nm torque.
Despite some feature reductions, the Scorpio N Z8 Select remains a powerful and competitive SUV option in its segment.
