The date of Amrit Kalash Yojana, the special FD scheme offering the highest interest rate of SBI, has been extended. State Bank of India has also issued a circular in this regard. According to the circular, the date of SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana has been further extended to 31st December. Earlier, the last date to invest in this scheme was 15 August 2023.
The Amrit Kalash Fixed Deposit Scheme is valid till 15 August 2023. State Bank of India launched the Amrit Kalash scheme on 12 April 2023. This is a special scheme of SBI for both domestic and NRI customers.

Investors can invest less than 2 crores in SBI Amrit Kalash Deposit Scheme for a tenure of 400 days. Interest is paid at monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly intervals to the investors of this FD scheme.
How much interest is being received
SBI is offering 7.1 per cent and 7.6 per cent interest respectively in SBI’s Amrit Kalash scheme for its regular customers and senior citizens. SBI Amrit Kalash Deposit Scheme is applicable on retail FDs below Rs 2 crore. This will be applicable for new deposit scheme and renewal.
