In a major development for the region, East Central Railway has announced that the Vande Bharat Express will soon be running between Saharsa and Sealdah. This news comes after the railway authorities sent letters to officials of various railway divisions, including Samastipur, to enhance safety and ensure smooth operations on the route.

Route Details of Saharsa-Sealdah Vande Bharat

After a long wait, Saharsa has finally received the much-anticipated Vande Bharat train. The train will run from Saharsa to Sealdah via Jhajha and Kiul. Although the official timetable has not yet been released, the notification for the train’s operation has been issued. In preparation, loco pilots from Saharsa have been called for route training.

Loco Pilots Trained for Vande Bharat

Around two months ago, some loco pilots underwent training to operate the Vande Bharat Express. The railway had initially announced the plan to run the Vande Bharat train between Saharsa and Sealdah, and significant work has already been completed on the Saharsa to Mansi section, including signal panel updates and security enhancements. According to railway sources, the official timetable for the Saharsa-Sealdah Vande Bharat will be released soon.

New Train Launched Between Godda and Delhi

Another exciting development is the launch of a new train service between Godda and Delhi. The inaugural train arrived 55 minutes late at Sasaram Junction, reaching the station at 6:13 AM instead of the scheduled time of 5:18 AM. Regular operations for this service will begin on October 14.

Godda-Delhi Train Schedule

The train, numbered 14050, will depart from Delhi every Monday at 3:00 PM and reach Godda with stops at various important stations. On the return journey, train 14049 will leave Godda every Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The train will stop at Hansdiha, Kakania, Deoghar, Jasidih, Madhupur, New Giridih, Jamua, Koderma, Gaya, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, DDU, Prayagraj, Kanpur, and Tundla before arriving in Delhi. Similarly, the train will stop at these same stations on its return journey to Godda.

Passengers traveling from Bhabua Road, Sasaram, and Dehri will have convenient night-time options to travel to Delhi.
