Introduction

New Delhi ★Safdarjung Hospital, a central government hospital, is taking steps to provide radiology and laboratory test reports to patients online, following in the footsteps of AIIMS.

WiFi and Online Facilities

The hospital administration is working towards connecting the entire campus with a hi-tech WiFi system to make the entire facility online. This will eliminate the need for patients to wander for reports and allow doctors to access the reports online. Additionally, the lab facilities will be centralized, reducing the need for patients to visit different locations to give samples.

Sports Injury Center

The new Sports Injury Center at Safdarjung Hospital is expected to open by January, equipped with modern facilities. The center will integrate testing and other facilities in its new building, providing comprehensive care for sports-related injuries.

Private OPD

Safdarjung Hospital is also planning to start a private OPD soon. The hospital is currently preparing an outline for how this will work. Previously, the hospital had introduced a private ward facility, allowing patients to receive treatment with additional amenities for a fee.
