Two Cases Registered Against Saddam in Bareilly
Saddam, the brother-in-law of Mafia Ashraf, is facing two cases in Bareilly. One case has been registered at the Bithri Chainpur police station for an illegal meeting with Ashraf, while the other case is registered at the Baradari police station for fraudulently acquiring a house and theft. Saddam has been absconding in both cases, leading to the ADG announcing a reward of Rs 1 lakh on him.
STF Arrests Saddam in Delhi
The Bithri Chainpur police in Bareilly had initiated the process of arresting Saddam and had pasted a notice under Section 82 at his house in Prayagraj. Police teams were continuously searching for him. Finally, on Thursday, the Bareilly unit of the STF arrested Saddam from the Malviya Nagar area of Delhi. He will now be brought back to Bareilly to face legal proceedings.
Saddam Changing Locations to Evade Arrest
Recently, Saddam’s photos in Dubai had gone viral, leading to speculation that he had fled the country. However, he was constantly changing his locations to avoid detection. For a considerable period, he was living in Delhi while frequently changing his hideouts. The STF received information about his whereabouts and successfully apprehended him in Delhi.
