Jeep India is all set to launch the updated version of its popular off-roading SUV, Wrangler, in the Indian market. The new model, which was introduced internationally in 2023, will now be available for Indian customers who are looking for a rugged and adventurous SUV.
New Design
The new Wrangler comes with a refreshed front profile, featuring a sleek blacked-out grille with Jeep’s signature seven-slat design. It also offers new alloy wheels and roof style options, including hard-top and soft-top roof choices, along with 17★and 18-inch alloy wheel variants.
Interior
Inside, the new Wrangler boasts a slightly revised dashboard layout with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also includes wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, 12-way power adjustable front seats, and a digital instrument cluster, providing a modern and comfortable driving experience.
Powertrain
The India-specific pre-facelift Jeep Wrangler is equipped with a 270hp, 400Nm, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. It is expected that the facelifted Wrangler will retain this powerful powertrain configuration.
