Renault has taken the first step in overhauling its business model in India by opening a new showroom in Ambattur, Chennai. The showroom, known as the ‘R’ store, features the new Renault logo, customer lounges, and display sections for the French automaker’s range. This new touch point identity will be implemented in 100 showrooms by early 2026.
New Range of Models
As part of the brand’s larger revamp in 2025, Renault plans to launch three new models in the next year. This includes a facelift for the Kiger and Triber, as well as an all-new premium SUV that is expected to be the next-generation Duster arriving in 2026.
Renault’s Vision for India
Venkatram M, MD and Country CEO of Renault India, highlighted the significance of the Ambattur dealership launch, stating that India is at the forefront of Renault’s global plans. The company aims to offer superior customer experience through acclaimed products, redefined sales experience, and globally acclaimed aftersales services.
