The corporation has finalized the fare structure for the initial segment of the RapidX Train, with the journey from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot priced at ₹50, making travel more economical and accessible.

Travelers will be able to ride the RapidX Train starting October 21 at 6 AM. The train service, running from 6 AM to 11 PM, offers a minimum fare of ₹20.

The introduction of two categories of tickets – standard and premium classes – offers flexibility in commuting. The standard class starts at ₹20, while the premium class offers rides starting at ₹40, catering to different commuter needs.

Premium Class: A Luxurious Ride

In addition to standard fares, passengers looking for a more comfortable journey can opt for the premium class. The premium fare from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot is ₹100, while the prices from Ghaziabad and Guldhar to Duhai Depot are set at ₹60.

The journey within Duhai, from one point to the depot, will cost ₹40 in the premium class, providing a luxurious travel experience.

Ticket Purchase and Facilities

Children under 90cm in height can travel for free on the RapidX Train. Tickets can be purchased via various methods, including digital QR code-based tickets and the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC).

Additionally, passengers can buy tickets at station counters and recharge their cards, with the NCMC card being rechargeable for a maximum of ₹2,000. Ticket vending machines and paper QR-based tickets also offer convenience.

At Sahibabad station, four vending machines have been installed, with four more at Ghaziabad station, two at Guldhar, two at Duhai, and two at the Duhai Depot, ensuring ease of ticket purchase.
