The Finance Department issued an order increasing DA from 113% to 115%, amounting to Rs 356 crore. The installment was not given during the tenure of the previous government, and a petition was filed in the High Court on behalf of the employees. The Finance Minister said that the installment of DA is included in the burden of Rs 356 crore on the exchequer.
