Sex Racket Busted in Agra Home Stay, Three Arrested

Police raided a home stay in the Tajganj area of Agra following information about an ongoing prostitution racket. The raid resulted in the arrest of three individuals, including a woman, while a teenage girl was rescued. The incident has caused a stir in the locality, as it has been reported that the home stay had been operating as a prostitution market for a considerable period of time.

Details of the Raid

The police conducted the raid on Saturday afternoon near the East Gate, where the home stay was located. Along with arresting a woman and two men, they found a teenage girl in one of the rooms. The girl, originally from West Bengal, had been brought to Agra just four days prior and had an Aadhar card registered in Delhi. The woman who accompanied her claimed to be her aunt, although the statements of the teenager and the woman contradicted each other. A case is now being registered at the Tajganj police station under the Immoral Prostitution Prevention Act. One of the arrested individuals is an employee of the home stay, while the other is believed to be a customer.

Forced into Prostitution

Investigations have revealed that the home stay was operating as a prostitution ring, and the rescued teenage girl was being forced into the trade. Prior to this incident, the woman had taken the girl to Delhi as well. Her identity card bears a Delhi address, and she is said to be 15 years old. The woman, who initially claimed to be the teenager’s sister, later changed her story and identified herself as the girl’s aunt. Police have interrogated both the girl and the woman separately due to their conflicting statements.
