Apart from this, India’s first online complaint information management system will be implemented in Delhi for complaints in corruption cases. With this, people will be able to directly register online complaints without any hassle. The sub-registrar’s office will be under full CCTV surveillance.
The Lt Governor also reviewed the directions to the agencies to create a concrete mechanism against corruption and establish coordination among various agencies including the Delhi Police and the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) in dealing with it. Several guidelines were issued to reduce corruption in government departments, prevent infiltration of middlemen in offices and bring transparency.
Dabish to rein in the brokers
The Lt Governor also directed the officials to conduct regular surprise checks and raids in such public offices including the Sub-Registrar Office, Transport Office, Trade, Tax and Excise Office to check touts and bring transparency. He stressed on making the sub-registrar office corruption free. For this, he directed to bring the entire area of all sub-registrar offices under CCTV surveillance, whose feed would be sent directly to the Central Command and Control Center.
