A new luxury bus service will soon be available from Bihar to Delhi. These buses, operating between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, will travel up to the Gaziabad (NCR) area in Delhi.
The service will begin soon from four cities in Bihar — Patna, Buxar, Kishanganj, and Nalanda — to Gaziabad. The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has started searching for eligible agencies to run this service. According to the transport department, four buses will operate daily from each of these cities.
Key Information:
- Route: Buses will operate daily from Patna, Buxar, Kishanganj, and Nalanda to Gaziabad via Purvanchal Expressway to Taj and Yamuna Expressway.
- Passenger Capacity: Over 500 passengers will travel daily, with approximately 2 lakh people benefiting annually.
- Bus Types:
- Seater Buses: With 43 or more pushback seats.
- Sleeper Buses: With 30 or more seats.

- Fire extinguishers
- Emergency exit doors
- GPS for real-time location tracking
- VLTVD for accurate bus location
Fare:
The fare will be set by the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC). The fare for both up and down routes will be fixed, and bus operators will not have the authority to decide the fare. Passengers will not be offered discounts or adjustments by the operators.
The service will run under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, with the BSRTC monitoring the operations. The buses will be of the latest models and registered in Bihar. The buses are expected to significantly benefit passengers traveling between Bihar and Delhi.
