DU Admissions 2023: The admission process for Delhi University Undergraduate, DU UG 2023 is currently underway. Over 65,900 seats out of the total 71,000 undergraduate seats have already been filled as of August 26, 2023.

Final Phase of Counselling

The University of Delhi (DU) conducted three rounds of counselling for admission to undergraduate courses. In the final phase, known as CSAS Round 3, a total of 24,178 candidates were allotted seats. The last date to accept the allotted seats in the third round of counselling was August 24, 2023.

Spot Round for Remaining Seats

The University of Delhi is expected to conduct a spot round to fill the remaining seats. A previous notification stated that “The University may announce more rounds of counselling subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any.” However, no formal declaration has been made regarding this matter as of now.

Commencement of Classes

As per the new academic session 2023-24, the classes for undergraduate programs for Semesters I, III, V, and VII began on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
