How much subsidy will you get?

The solar subsidy varies based on the system’s capacity. For a 1 kW system, you can receive up to ₹30,000, while a 2 kW system qualifies for ₹60,000. Systems over 2 kW can attract a subsidy of up to ₹78,000, capped at 10 kW. Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh government offers subsidies between ₹15,000 and ₹30,000 to facilitate installation.

How to apply for solar subsidy?

To apply, visit the National Rooftop Solar Portal at pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Submit your electricity bill and other required details. A feasibility report will confirm your eligibility for the subsidy. After selecting an installer, the system will be set up, and the subsidy will be credited to your account within 30 to 60 days post-installation.

Subsidy for 1 kilowatt solar system in Uttar Pradesh

Residents can receive a subsidy of ₹14,500 to ₹15,000 for a 1 kW solar system, with installation costs ranging from ₹55,000 to ₹80,000. Systems larger than 1 kW can also attract additional subsidies.
