Noida, India – In a bid to control traffic congestion, the traffic police have decided to ban long-route passenger buses from operating between Chilla Border and the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway during peak hours.
This new rule aims to ease the heavy traffic flow and will be enforced from Saturday onwards. If any bus is found violating this rule, it will be seized immediately.
🚌 Meeting with Bus Owners
On Friday, DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad held a meeting with bus owners from Noida and Delhi. A total of 45 bus owners or their representatives attended the meeting.
During the discussion, DCP Prasad emphasized the importance of scheduling buses in such a way that they avoid the Chilla Border to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway route during rush hours. Specifically, buses that normally enter Noida between 8 to 9 AM will not be allowed to do so during this busy time.
