Noida Police Arrests Two Involved in Creating Fake Identity Documents for Pakistani Woman Seema Haider
The Noida Police has apprehended two individuals, Pushpendra and Pawan, who were found to be involved in creating fake identity documents for Seema Haider. Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman, had illegally crossed over to India to marry her online mobile game PUBG lover.
The accused, both natives of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, were under continuous interrogation for the past three days. During the investigation, the police recovered 15 fake Aadhaar cards from them, leading to the revelation of their involvement in a larger fraudulent documentation racket.
Seema Haider arrived in Greater Noida accompanied by her husband, Sachin Meena, with the intention of getting married. They sought assistance from Pushpendra and Pawan at their Jan Seva Kendra in Bulandshahr to obtain the necessary documents for their marriage.
The police found evidence linking Pushpendra and Pawan to the forgery of Aadhaar cards. Equipment believed to be used in the creation of counterfeit cards was also confiscated.
Seema Haider’s Story So Far
Seema Haider, a 30-year-old Pakistani woman, fell in love with Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old Indian man, while playing PUBG during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite being married to Ghulam Haider and having four children, Seema decided to illegally cross the border into India to be with Sachin.
Seema and Sachin first met in Nepal in March and got married as per Hindu rituals after Seema converted to Hinduism. They entered India through Nepal on May 13, along with Seema’s children.
Seema was arrested on July 4 for illegal migration, and Sachin and his father were detained for providing her shelter. Though released on bail a few days later, the couple is still being questioned by probe agencies.
Seema’s estranged husband Ghulam, who works in Saudi Arabia, wishes to reunite with his wife and children. However, Seema has expressed her desire to live with Sachin and not go back to Pakistan.
