Noida International Airport Area to Launch New Residential Plot Scheme, Enabling Dream Homes for Residents Within Three Months, Says Authority.

People will soon have a chance to build their homes near the Noida International Airport. The Yamuna Authority is working on a new plan for residential plots, which is expected to be ready in the next three months. The registration for this scheme has already begun with the Uttar Pradesh Land Wealth Regulatory Authority (UP RERA). The exact number of plots available will be revealed once the registration process is completed.

CEO’s Statement on Housing Demand

Dr. Arunveer Singh, the Chief Executive Officer, mentioned that many people are eager to build houses near the airport. With the airport set to begin operations in April and the construction of Film City starting soon, there is a growing interest in purchasing plots in the area. The registration process with RERA is being expedited to facilitate the launch of this residential plot scheme. The plots will be offered in blocks where land hasn’t been allocated in Sector-18, along with plots from other sectors.

Background of Previous Housing Schemes

The Yamuna Authority had previously introduced a residential plot scheme in 2009 for Sector-18 and 20. However, the development of several plots was delayed due to legal disputes over certain land sections. After resolving these issues with the High Court, the authority has regained possession of the land, making it possible to move forward with the new plot scheme.

Recent Housing Schemes and Applications

Last year, the authority launched two residential plot schemes. One of these schemes attracted over 200,000 applications, while the other received around 125,000 applications. The upcoming plot scheme aims to boost the settlement in the growing city.
