Following the model of the iconic Delhi Haat, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has laid out plans to establish ‘Gurugram Haat’ in the city. A 2.38-acre plot in Sector 37C has been selected for this project, and the proposal has been sent to headquarters for approval.
Key Features of the Planned Gurugram Haat:
- Cultural and Commercial Hub: Gurugram Haat aims to become a vibrant cultural and commercial hub, offering residents and visitors alike a place to purchase a wide array of goods at affordable prices.
- Inspired by Delhi Haat: The concept is inspired by Delhi Haat, known for its amalgamation of craft, cuisine, and cultural activities, providing a platform for artisans to sell their wares directly to consumers.
- Location Advantage: Situated in Sector 37C, the chosen location for Gurugram Haat is expected to be easily accessible, making it a potential favorite spot for shopping and leisure activities among locals and tourists.
The establishment of Gurugram Haat is a significant step towards enriching the cultural and economic landscape of Gurugram, mirroring the success of Delhi Haat. By offering a space where people can buy a variety of goods at reasonable prices, Gurugram Haat is set to become a key attraction for shopping and cultural engagement.
This initiative not only supports local artisans and entrepreneurs by providing them with a platform to showcase their products but also adds a new dimension to Gurugram’s urban development.
