DelhiDesk: The new parliament building in India is set to be inaugurated on Sunday, with several VVIPs/VIPs and other dignitaries expected to attend. Delhi Traffic Police have made arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow, but have advised people to avoid the New Delhi area if not necessary. The area of New Delhi district will be considered a controlled area, with only public transport vehicles, civil service candidates, bonafide residents, labeled vehicles, and emergency vehicles allowed. Meanwhile, a restricted area will be in place from Mother Teresa Ceresent Road Golchakkar(R/A) to Teen Murti Marg, with only civil service candidates, bonafide residents, labeled vehicles, and emergency vehicles allowed within the zone. The public is advised to stay updated on traffic through Delhi Traffic Police’s Facebook page, Twitter handle, website, and helpline. Civil services candidates are also requested to plan their travel early to reach their examination centers in New Delhi district on time.
