Great news for railway passengers! The long-awaited Foot Over Bridge (FOB) connecting Nizamuddin Railway Station to the nearby Sarai Kale Khan’s Namo Bharat station is finally complete. Now, commuters won’t have to deal with traffic jams or detours anymore.
🚶♂️🚶♀️ What’s New?
-
A 280-meter long FOB has been built, fully connecting both stations.
-
The NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) has also installed six escalators on the bridge – all functional now.
-
Barricades and broken roads on the route have been removed.
💬 Officials say the distance between the two stations was around 300 meters, but passengers – especially the elderly, women, children, and people with disabilities – had to face major inconvenience due to traffic and lack of proper paths.
